This pot leaf was done in chalk on the streets of SanLuis Obispo California It was done during a street chalk festival in fall of 1996. At the time California was trying to pass proposition 215 to make make medical marijuana legal in California. I had a lot of fun making this picture and talking to the tourists. I told them the leafs were very big because they grew on the cooling toweres of the nearby Diablo Nuclear Power plant. I added yellow streaks to the leaves to show that the leaf glowed in the dark
